The Sins Of Thy Beloved is a Norwegian band mostly classified as gothic metal.
Their style could be characterised as dark, themes are mostly feelings such as love, death, loneliness adn sorrow.
As a consequence of their far-going musical experimenting, they strike with an unprecedented variation in their productions.

The band consists of not less than seven very talented musicians with differing musical background.
With remarquable strength in quality they have given a new dimension to the gothic metal style. Eighter concerning the music as the lyrics they find themselves far ahead 'comparable' bands.

Since about the end of 2003, the band started to go in some kind of hibernation. Their website hadn't been updated for a long time, and was removed later.
Official information has been very scarce ever since. There is evidence, however, that fans shouldn't give up hope! While the number of musicians has proven to be an advantage for the quality of their music, it is at the same time a serious disadvantage when it comes to productivity. Check the 'news' for the latest updates!

This site has in first instance been built just as a fan site dedicated to the Sins, and is meant to contain as much and accurate information about this wonderful band as possible.
Suggestions for improvement of the site are of course always welcome.
